By integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and multimodal clinical cues, the system automates scenario generation and provides quantitative feedback. Expert validation (N=10) demonstrated high validity with an overall mean score of 4.61\/5.0 (SD=0.52) and a Scale-level Content Validity Index (S-CVI\/Ave) of 0.98, confirming its effectiveness for clinical training.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.3233\/shti260671","type":"book-chapter","created":{"date-parts":[[2026,5,21]],"date-time":"2026-05-21T22:12:14Z","timestamp":1779401534000},"source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":0,"title":["Overcoming the Limitations of Standardized Patients Through Dynamic CPX Scenario Automation and Multimodal Clinical Representation"],"prefix":"10.3233","author":[{"ORCID":"https:\/\/orcid.org\/0000-0003-1892-8862","authenticated-orcid":false,"given":"Sumin","family":"Seo","sequence":"first","affiliation":[{"name":"KM Data Division, Korea Institute of Oriental Medicine"}],"role":[{"vocabulary":"crossref","role":"author"}]},{"ORCID":"https:\/\/orcid.org\/0000-0002-4607-1328","authenticated-orcid":false,"given":"Anna","family":"Kim","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"KM Data Division, Korea Institute of Oriental Medicine"}],"role":[{"vocabulary":"crossref","role":"author"}]},{"ORCID":"https:\/\/orcid.org\/0000-0001-8973-0795","authenticated-orcid":false,"given":"Yongtaek","family":"Oh","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Dept. of Diagnostics, College of Korean Medicine, Woosuk University"}],"role":[{"vocabulary":"crossref","role":"author"}]}],"member":"7437","container-title":["Studies in Health Technology and Informatics","Opening the Personal Gate between Technology and Health Care"],"original-title":[],"link":[{"URL":"https:\/\/ebooks.iospress.nl\/pdf\/doi\/10.3233\/SHTI260671","content-type":"unspecified","content-version":"vor","intended-application":"similarity-checking"}],"deposited":{"date-parts":[[2026,5,21]],"date-time":"2026-05-21T22:12:15Z","timestamp":1779401535000},"score":1,"resource":{"primary":{"URL":"https:\/\/ebooks.iospress.nl\/doi\/10.3233\/SHTI260671"}},"subtitle":[],"short-title":[],"issued":{"date-parts":[[2026,5,21]]},"ISBN":["9781643686615"],"references-count":0,"URL":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.3233\/shti260671","relation":{},"ISSN":["0926-9630","1879-8365"],"issn-type":[{"value":"0926-9630","type":"print"},{"value":"1879-8365","type":"electronic"}],"subject":[],"published":{"date-parts":[[2026,5,21]]}}}
