Hence, there is a need for a tool that supports visual engagement, especially in cases of video consumption. Methodology: In this short paper, we present an extension to the Interactive Knowledge (InK) Browser that accommodates the exploration of educational multimedia material. The InK Browser already provides an intuitive and interactive interface that allows a follow-your-nose data discovery of a knowledge graph. Additionally, we provide the InK Browser with a new functionality that supports the visual parsing of video content and links it to openly accessible educational material. Findings\/Value: Additionally, we report results from a Survey. Finally, we propose an underlying ontology that reflects this design and encourages both modularity and re-usability in the representation of knowledge.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.3233\/ssw250022","type":"book-chapter","created":{"date-parts":[[2025,8,28]],"date-time":"2025-08-28T08:05:46Z","timestamp":1756368346000},"source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":0,"title":["Extending the Interactive Knowledge Browser to Support Educational Multimedia"],"prefix":"10.3233","author":[{"given":"Antrea","family":"Christou","sequence":"first","affiliation":[{"name":"Wright State University"}]},{"given":"Alexis","family":"Ellis","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Wright State University"}]},{"given":"Chris Davis","family":"Jaldi","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Wright State University"}]},{"given":"Cogan","family":"Shimizu","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Wright State University"}]}],"member":"7437","container-title":["Studies on the Semantic Web","Linking Meaning: Semantic Technologies Shaping the Future of AI"],"original-title":[],"link":[{"URL":"https:\/\/ebooks.iospress.nl\/pdf\/doi\/10.3233\/SSW250022","content-type":"unspecified","content-version":"vor","intended-application":"similarity-checking"}],"deposited":{"date-parts":[[2025,8,28]],"date-time":"2025-08-28T08:05:47Z","timestamp":1756368347000},"score":1,"resource":{"primary":{"URL":"https:\/\/ebooks.iospress.nl\/doi\/10.3233\/SSW250022"}},"subtitle":[],"short-title":[],"issued":{"date-parts":[[2025,8,26]]},"ISBN":["9781643686165"],"references-count":0,"URL":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.3233\/ssw250022","relation":{},"ISSN":["1868-1158","2215-0870"],"issn-type":[{"value":"1868-1158","type":"print"},{"value":"2215-0870","type":"electronic"}],"subject":[],"published":{"date-parts":[[2025,8,26]]}}}
