The purpose of the article is to determine the structure of the criminalistic characterization of criminal offenses in the field of economic activity. Based on the analysis, the author determines the possibility of formulating such a concept as the basic structure (model) of criminalistic characterization of criminal offenses. The basic model of criminalistic characterization is proposed to be understood as a universal, unified model of mandatory generalized data on typical features of a group of criminal offenses which are systemically important in the context of developing scientifically sound recommendations for investigating crimes.
