Head motion can be conveniently tracked with HMDs, but may have some features different from those of conventional CoP measurements, because of the complex joint structures of the human body. In this analysis, the responses were very similar (except for response gain), and we did not find any significant differences in time or frequency domains. Our results support the use of head motion as a potential predictor of variability in body sway, at least in studies of visually guided postural control.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.3389\/frvir.2022.1026718","type":"journal-article","created":{"date-parts":[[2022,10,14]],"date-time":"2022-10-14T04:26:55Z","timestamp":1665721615000},"update-policy":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.3389\/crossmark-policy","source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":2,"title":["Comparing measurements of head motion and centre of pressure for body sway induced by optic flow on a head-mounted display"],"prefix":"10.3389","volume":"3","author":[{"given":"Hiroshi","family":"Ashida","sequence":"first","affiliation":[]},{"given":"Kanon","family":"Fujimoto","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[]}],"member":"1965","published-online":{"date-parts":[[2022,10,14]]},"reference":[{"key":"B27","doi-asserted-by":"publisher","first-page":"1208","DOI":"10.3390\/s16081208","article-title":"Preprocessing the Nintendo Wii board signal to derive more accurate descriptors of statokinesigrams","volume":"16","author":"Audiffren","year":"2016","journal-title":"Seosors"},{"key":"B1","doi-asserted-by":"publisher","first-page":"1631","DOI":"10.1037\/0096-1523.23.6.1631","article-title":"Perception-action coupling in the development of visual control of posture","volume":"23","author":"Bertenthal","year":"1997","journal-title":"J.
