However, there is a great disunity among methods and means of data analysis, formats and interfaces of storing and providing data, and software and information systems for data processing. As part of a large project to create a planetary observatory that combines data from spatially distributed geosphere monitoring systems, the efforts of leading institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences are also aimed at creating an information and computing ecosystem to unite researchers processing and analyzing the data obtained. This article provides a brief overview of the current state of publications on information ecosystems in various applied fields, and it also proposes a concept for an ecosystem on a multiagent basis with unique technical features.
