Third-instar larvae expressing a green fluorescent protein (GFP)-tagged ribosomal subunit specifically in Class 4 dendritic arborization neurons, recognized as pickpocket-expressing primary nociceptors, via the GAL4\/UAS method, were injured by ultraviolet light or sham-injured. Larvae were subjected to translating ribosome affinity purification for the GFP tag and nociceptor-specific ribosome-bound RNA was sequenced.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.3390\/data10020011","type":"journal-article","created":{"date-parts":[[2025,1,21]],"date-time":"2025-01-21T05:47:42Z","timestamp":1737438462000},"page":"11","update-policy":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.3390\/mdpi_crossmark_policy","source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":0,"title":["RNA Sequencing Dataset of Drosophila Nociceptor Translatomic Response to Injury"],"prefix":"10.3390","volume":"10","author":[{"given":"Christine M.","family":"Hale","sequence":"first","affiliation":[{"name":"College of Arts and Sciences, University of New England, 11 Hills Beach Road, Biddeford, ME 04103, USA"}],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"given":"Kyle J.","family":"Beauchemin","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"College of Arts and Sciences, University of New England, 11 Hills Beach Road, Biddeford, ME 04103, USA"}],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"given":"Courtney L.","family":"Brann","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"College of Arts and Sciences, University of New England, 11 Hills Beach Road, Biddeford, ME 04103, USA"}],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"given":"Julie K.","family":"Moulton","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"College of Arts and Sciences, University of New England, 11 Hills Beach Road, Biddeford, ME 04103, USA"}],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"given":"Ramaz","family":"Geguchadze","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"College of Osteopathic Medicine, University of New England, 11 Hills Beach Road, Biddeford, ME 04103, USA"}],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"ORCID":"https:\/\/orcid.org\/0000-0002-6078-5060","authenticated-orcid":false,"given":"Benjamin J.","family":"Harrison","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"College of Osteopathic Medicine, University of New England, 11 Hills Beach Road, Biddeford, ME 04103, USA"}],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"ORCID":"https:\/\/orcid.org\/0000-0001-7726-2111","authenticated-orcid":false,"given":"Geoffrey K.","family":"Ganter","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"College of Arts and Sciences, University of New England, 11 Hills Beach Road, Biddeford, ME 04103, USA"}],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]}],"member":"1968","published-online":{"date-parts":[[2025,1,21]]},"reference":[{"key":"ref_1","doi-asserted-by":"crossref","first-page":"611","DOI":"10.1016\/j.tins.2009.07.007","article-title":"Critical role of nociceptor plasticity in chronic pain","volume":"32","author":"Reichling","year":"2009","journal-title":"Trends Neurosci."},{"key":"ref_2","doi-asserted-by":"crossref","first-page":"517","DOI":"10.4161\/cib.2.6.9561","article-title":"Two sides of the same coin no longer: Genetic separation of nociceptive sensitization responses","volume":"2","author":"Babcock","year":"2009","journal-title":"Commun.
