For the data collection, 10 healthy subjects performed 10 repetitions of different physical therapy movements with a Vicon optical tracker and a Microsoft Kinect sensor used for the motion capturing. The data are in a format that includes positions and angles of full-body joints. The objective of the data set is to provide a basis for mathematical modeling of therapy movements, as well as for establishing performance metrics for evaluation of patient consistency in executing the prescribed rehabilitation exercises.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.3390\/data3010002","type":"journal-article","created":{"date-parts":[[2018,1,11]],"date-time":"2018-01-11T13:36:15Z","timestamp":1515677775000},"page":"2","update-policy":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.3390\/mdpi_crossmark_policy","source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":131,"title":["A Data Set of Human Body Movements for Physical Rehabilitation Exercises"],"prefix":"10.3390","volume":"3","author":[{"given":"Aleksandar","family":"Vakanski","sequence":"first","affiliation":[{"name":"Industrial Technology, University of Idaho, 1776 Science Center Drive, Idaho Falls, ID 83402, USA"}]},{"given":"Hyung-pil","family":"Jun","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Department of Movement Sciences, University of Idaho, 875 Perimeter Drive, Moscow, ID 83844, USA"}]},{"given":"David","family":"Paul","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Department of Movement Sciences, University of Idaho, 875 Perimeter Drive, Moscow, ID 83844, USA"}]},{"ORCID":"https:\/\/orcid.org\/0000-0003-3352-9632","authenticated-orcid":false,"given":"Russell","family":"Baker","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Department of Movement Sciences, University of Idaho, 875 Perimeter Drive, Moscow, ID 83844, USA"}]}],"member":"1968","published-online":{"date-parts":[[2018,1,11]]},"reference":[{"key":"ref_1","doi-asserted-by":"crossref","first-page":"1018","DOI":"10.2522\/ptj.20100343","article-title":"Determinants of utilization and expenditures for episodes of ambulatory physical therapy among adults","volume":"91","author":"Machlin","year":"2011","journal-title":"Phys.
