Analyses of stem-map data have led to greater scientific understanding and improved forest management. However, availability of these data for reuse remains limited. We present a description of eight 4-ha stem-maps used in four prior research studies. These stem-maps contain locations and associated measurements of residual trees and stumps measured after forest restoration cuttings in Colorado, Arizona, and New Mexico. Data are published in two file formats to facilitate reuse.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.3390\/data4020068","type":"journal-article","created":{"date-parts":[[2019,5,14]],"date-time":"2019-05-14T10:42:33Z","timestamp":1557830553000},"page":"68","update-policy":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.3390\/mdpi_crossmark_policy","source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":3,"title":["Stem-Maps of Forest Restoration Cuttings in Pinus ponderosa-Dominated Forests in the Interior West, USA"],"prefix":"10.3390","volume":"4","author":[{"given":"Justin P.","family":"Ziegler","sequence":"first","affiliation":[{"name":"Department of Forest & Rangeland Stewardship, Colorado State University, Fort Collins, CO 80523, USA"}]},{"given":"Chad M.","family":"Hoffman","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Department of Forest & Rangeland Stewardship, Colorado State University, Fort Collins, CO 80523, USA"}]},{"given":"Mike A.","family":"Battaglia","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Rocky Mountain Research Station, US Forest Service, Fort Collins, CO 80526, USA"}]},{"given":"William","family":"Mell","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Pacific Wildland Fire Sciences Lab, US Forest Service, Seattle, WA 98103, USA"}]}],"member":"1968","published-online":{"date-parts":[[2019,5,14]]},"reference":[{"key":"ref_1","doi-asserted-by":"crossref","first-page":"1","DOI":"10.2307\/2256497","article-title":"Pattern and process in the plant community","volume":"35","author":"Watt","year":"1947","journal-title":"J.
