The deterministic part of the equations is based on non-linear transition probabilities between income classes. The noise terms can be additive, multiplicative or mixed, both with white or Ornstein\u2013Uhlenbeck spectrum. The most important measured correlations are those between Gini inequality index G and social mobility M, between total income and G, and between M and total income. We describe numerical results concerning these correlations and a quantity which gives average stochastic deviations from the equilibrium solutions in dependence on the noise amplitude.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.3390\/e20030166","type":"journal-article","created":{"date-parts":[[2018,3,6]],"date-time":"2018-03-06T07:37:25Z","timestamp":1520321845000},"page":"166","update-policy":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.3390\/mdpi_crossmark_policy","source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":0,"title":["Statistics of Correlations and Fluctuations in a Stochastic Model of Wealth Exchange"],"prefix":"10.3390","volume":"20","author":[{"given":"Maria","family":"Bertotti","sequence":"first","affiliation":[{"name":"Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, Faculty of Science and Technology, I-39100 Bolzano, Italy"}],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"ORCID":"https:\/\/orcid.org\/0000-0001-5499-6008","authenticated-orcid":false,"given":"Amit","family":"Chattopadhyay","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Aston University, Mathematics, System Analytics Research Group, Birmingham B4 7ET, UK"}],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"ORCID":"https:\/\/orcid.org\/0000-0003-4302-2966","authenticated-orcid":false,"given":"Giovanni","family":"Modanese","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, Faculty of Science and Technology, I-39100 Bolzano, Italy"}],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]}],"member":"1968","published-online":{"date-parts":[[2018,3,5]]},"reference":[{"key":"ref_1","doi-asserted-by":"crossref","first-page":"618","DOI":"10.1119\/1.4807852","article-title":"Kinetic exchange models: From molecular physics to social science","volume":"81","author":"Patriarca","year":"2013","journal-title":"Am.
