Under some weak conditions, such as Eu1=0, E|u1|4+\u03b4&lt;\u221e for some \u03b4&gt;0 and mixing coefficients \u03b1(n)=O(n\u2212(2+8\/\u03b4)), the Cauchy limiting distribution is established for the least squares (LS) estimator \u03c1^n of \u03c1n, which extends the cases of independent errors and geometrically \u03b1-mixing errors. Some simulations for \u03c1n, such as the empirical probability of the confidence interval and the empirical density, are presented to illustrate the Cauchy limiting distribution, which have good finite sample performances.
