The system is based on depth sensors and exergames. The experiments carried out with several seniors, in a day care center, make it possible to evaluate the usability and the efficiency of the system. The outcomes highlight the user-friendliness, the very good usability of the developed system and the significant enhancement of the elderly in maintaining a physical activity. The performance of the postural response is improved by an average of 80%.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.3390\/info10010003","type":"journal-article","created":{"date-parts":[[2018,12,24]],"date-time":"2018-12-24T10:37:49Z","timestamp":1545647869000},"page":"3","update-policy":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.3390\/mdpi_crossmark_policy","source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":21,"title":["Evaluation of a Rehabilitation System for the Elderly in a Day Care Center"],"prefix":"10.3390","volume":"10","author":[{"ORCID":"https:\/\/orcid.org\/0000-0002-0159-2672","authenticated-orcid":false,"given":"Giuseppe","family":"Palestra","sequence":"first","affiliation":[{"name":"StreamVision sas, 9 Rue Notre Dame de Lorette, 75009 Paris, France"}]},{"given":"Mohamed","family":"Rebiai","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"StreamVision sas, 9 Rue Notre Dame de Lorette, 75009 Paris, France"}]},{"given":"Estelle","family":"Courtial","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Laboratory PRISME, University of Orleans, F45072 Orleans, France"}]},{"given":"Dimitrios","family":"Koutsouris","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Biomedical Engineering Laboratory, National Technical University of Athens, 10682 Athens, Greece"}]}],"member":"1968","published-online":{"date-parts":[[2018,12,22]]},"reference":[{"key":"ref_1","unstructured":"World Health Organization (2017, January 16).
