In this study, the spatial\u2013temporal analysis of land subsidence in Beijing was assessed by using the small baseline subset (SBAS) interferometric synthetic aperture radar (InSAR) technique based on 47 TerraSAR-X SAR images from 2010 to 2015. Distinct variations of the land subsidence were found in the study regions. The maximum annual land subsidence rate was 146 mm\/year from 2011 to 2015. The comparison between the SBAS InSAR results and the ground leveling measurements showed that the InSAR land subsidence results achieved a precision of 2 mm. In 2013, the maximum displacement reached 132 and 138 mm\/year in the Laiguangying and DongbalizhuangDajiaoting area. Our analysis showed that the serious land subsidence mainly occurred in the following land use types: water area and wetland, paddy field, upland soils, vegetable land, and peasant-inhabited land. Our results could provide a useful reference for groundwater exploitation and urban planning.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.3390\/rs9040380","type":"journal-article","created":{"date-parts":[[2017,4,19]],"date-time":"2017-04-19T10:22:01Z","timestamp":1492597321000},"page":"380","update-policy":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.3390\/mdpi_crossmark_policy","source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":66,"title":["InSAR Time-Series Analysis of Land Subsidence under Different Land Use Types in the Eastern Beijing Plain, China"],"prefix":"10.3390","volume":"9","author":[{"given":"Chaofan","family":"Zhou","sequence":"first","affiliation":[{"name":"College of Resources Environment and Tourism, Capital Normal University, 105 North Road of the Western 3rd Ringroad, Haidian District, Beijing 100048, China"}],"role":[{"vocabulary":"crossref","role":"author"}]},{"given":"Huili","family":"Gong","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"College of Resources Environment and Tourism, Capital Normal University, 105 North Road of the Western 3rd Ringroad, Haidian District, Beijing 100048, China"}],"role":[{"vocabulary":"crossref","role":"author"}]},{"given":"Beibei","family":"Chen","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"College of Resources Environment and Tourism, Capital Normal University, 105 North Road of the Western 3rd Ringroad, Haidian District, Beijing 100048, China"}],"role":[{"vocabulary":"crossref","role":"author"}]},{"given":"Jiwei","family":"Li","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"College of Resources Environment and Tourism, Capital Normal University, 105 North Road of the Western 3rd Ringroad, Haidian District, Beijing 100048, China"},{"name":"Department of Geosciences, University of Massachusetts, 627 North Pleasant Street, Amherst, MA 01002, USA"}],"role":[{"vocabulary":"crossref","role":"author"}]},{"ORCID":"https:\/\/orcid.org\/0000-0002-8871-6999","authenticated-orcid":false,"given":"Mingliang","family":"Gao","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"College of Resources Environment and Tourism, Capital Normal University, 105 North Road of the Western 3rd Ringroad, Haidian District, Beijing 100048, China"}],"role":[{"vocabulary":"crossref","role":"author"}]},{"given":"Feng","family":"Zhu","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Department of Geography, Yuying School, 11 West Street of Wanshou Road, Haidian District, Beijing 100036, China"}],"role":[{"vocabulary":"crossref","role":"author"}]},{"given":"Wenfeng","family":"Chen","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"College of Resources Environment and Tourism, Capital Normal University, 105 North Road of the Western 3rd Ringroad, Haidian District, Beijing 100048, China"}],"role":[{"vocabulary":"crossref","role":"author"}]},{"given":"Yue","family":"Liang","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"College of Resources Environment and Tourism, Capital Normal University, 105 North Road of the Western 3rd Ringroad, Haidian District, Beijing 100048, China"}],"role":[{"vocabulary":"crossref","role":"author"}]}],"member":"1968","published-online":{"date-parts":[[2017,4,19]]},"reference":[{"key":"ref_1","doi-asserted-by":"crossref","unstructured":"Zhu, L., Gong, H.L., Jing, L.L., Su, Y.M., Li, X.J., and Jiang, J.
