We report the development of a carbon nanotubes (CNTs)\/polymer sensor array based on inkjet printing technology. With this technique both composite-like layer and actual composite film of CNTs\/polymer were prepared as sensing layers for the chemical sensor array. The sensor array can response to a variety of complex odors and is installed in a prototype of wearable e-nose for monitoring the axillary odor released from human body. The wearable e-nose allows the classification of different armpit odors and the amount of the volatiles released as a function of level of skin hygiene upon different activities.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.3390\/s141019700","type":"journal-article","created":{"date-parts":[[2014,10,22]],"date-time":"2014-10-22T11:01:56Z","timestamp":1413975716000},"page":"19700-19712","update-policy":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.3390\/mdpi_crossmark_policy","source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":186,"title":["A Novel Wearable Electronic Nose for Healthcare Based on Flexible Printed Chemical Sensor Array"],"prefix":"10.3390","volume":"14","author":[{"given":"Panida","family":"Lorwongtragool","sequence":"first","affiliation":[{"name":"Faculty of Science and Technology, Rajamangala University of Technology Suvarnabhumi, Nonthaburi 11000, Thailand"}],"role":[{"vocabulary":"crossref","role":"author"}]},{"given":"Enrico","family":"Sowade","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Department of Digital Printing and Imaging Technology, TU Chemnitz, Chemnitz 09126, Germany"}],"role":[{"vocabulary":"crossref","role":"author"}]},{"given":"Natthapol","family":"Watthanawisuth","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Nanoelectronic and MEMS Lab National Electronic and Computer Technology Center, Pathumthani 12120, Thailand"}],"role":[{"vocabulary":"crossref","role":"author"}]},{"given":"Reinhard","family":"Baumann","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Department of Digital Printing and Imaging Technology, TU Chemnitz, Chemnitz 09126, Germany"},{"name":"Department Printed Functionalities, Fraunhofer ENAS, Chemnitz 09126, Germany"}],"role":[{"vocabulary":"crossref","role":"author"}]},{"given":"Teerakiat","family":"Kerdcharoen","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Department of Physics and NANOTEC's Center of Excellence, Faculty of Science, Mahidol University, Bangkok 10400, Thailand"}],"role":[{"vocabulary":"crossref","role":"author"}]}],"member":"1968","published-online":{"date-parts":[[2014,10,22]]},"reference":[{"key":"ref_1","doi-asserted-by":"crossref","first-page":"93","DOI":"10.1007\/s10916-010-9449-4","article-title":"Security and privacy issues in wireless sensor networks for healthcare applications","volume":"36","author":"Ameen","year":"2012","journal-title":"J.
