The compensation field was applied in real-time with the help of microprocessor-based, two-step, quasi-Newtonian optimization. The process of material parameters optimization through Joule-annealing of chosen amorphous alloys is described. The presented results of the prototype test unit show linear output characteristic, low measurement uncertainty, and resistance against time and temperature drift.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.3390\/s20030691","type":"journal-article","created":{"date-parts":[[2020,1,27]],"date-time":"2020-01-27T11:41:57Z","timestamp":1580125317000},"page":"691","update-policy":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.3390\/mdpi_crossmark_policy","source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":27,"title":["Novel Giant Magnetoimpedance Magnetic Field Sensor"],"prefix":"10.3390","volume":"20","author":[{"ORCID":"https:\/\/orcid.org\/0000-0002-6017-6134","authenticated-orcid":false,"given":"Piotr","family":"Gazda","sequence":"first","affiliation":[{"name":"Institute of Metrology and Biomedical Engineering, Warsaw University of Technology, 02-525 Warsaw, Poland"}],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"ORCID":"https:\/\/orcid.org\/0000-0002-0363-0361","authenticated-orcid":false,"given":"Roman","family":"Szewczyk","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Institute of Metrology and Biomedical Engineering, Warsaw University of Technology, 02-525 Warsaw, Poland"}],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]}],"member":"1968","published-online":{"date-parts":[[2020,1,27]]},"reference":[{"key":"ref_1","doi-asserted-by":"crossref","first-page":"1093","DOI":"10.1007\/s10948-014-2788-5","article-title":"Design of Ring Core Fluxgate Magnetometer as Attitude Control Sensor for Low and High Orbit Satellites","volume":"28","author":"Can","year":"2015","journal-title":"J.
