Both the advantages and drawbacks of the current technologies are illustrated. For in vivo measurement of the anterior segment, there are two main challenges that need to be addressed to achieve high speed, fine resolution, and large range imaging. One is the motion artefacts caused by the inevitable and random human eye movement. The other is the serious multiple scattering effects in intraocular turbid media. The future research perspectives are also outlined in this paper.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.3390\/s20154285","type":"journal-article","created":{"date-parts":[[2020,8,3]],"date-time":"2020-08-03T06:16:47Z","timestamp":1596435407000},"page":"4285","update-policy":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.3390\/mdpi_crossmark_policy","source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":13,"title":["Biometric Measurement of Anterior Segment: A Review"],"prefix":"10.3390","volume":"20","author":[{"ORCID":"https:\/\/orcid.org\/0000-0003-2543-4051","authenticated-orcid":false,"given":"Bin","family":"Liu","sequence":"first","affiliation":[{"name":"Tianjin Key Laboratory for Control Theory & Applications in Complicated Systems, Tianjin University of Technology, Tianjin 300384, China"},{"name":"Centre of Micro\/Nano manufacturing Technology (MNMT-Dublin), University College Dublin, D04 V1W8 Dublin 4, Dublin, Ireland"}],"role":[{"vocabulary":"crossref","role":"author"}]},{"given":"Chengwei","family":"Kang","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Centre of Micro\/Nano manufacturing Technology (MNMT-Dublin), University College Dublin, D04 V1W8 Dublin 4, Dublin, Ireland"}],"role":[{"vocabulary":"crossref","role":"author"}]},{"ORCID":"https:\/\/orcid.org\/0000-0002-8716-5988","authenticated-orcid":false,"given":"Fengzhou","family":"Fang","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Centre of Micro\/Nano manufacturing Technology (MNMT-Dublin), University College Dublin, D04 V1W8 Dublin 4, Dublin, Ireland"},{"name":"State Key Laboratory of Precision Measuring Technology and Instruments, Centre of Micro\/Nano Manufacturing Technology (MNMT), Tianjin University, Tianjin 300372, China"}],"role":[{"vocabulary":"crossref","role":"author"}]}],"member":"1968","published-online":{"date-parts":[[2020,7,31]]},"reference":[{"key":"ref_1","unstructured":"Bron, A., Tripathi, R., and Tripathi, B.
