However, there are currently no commercial digital products that integrate these psychosocial metrics with the real-time measurement of neural activity. In particular, electroencephalography (EEG) is a well-validated and highly sensitive neuroimaging method that yields robust markers of mood and affective processing, and has been widely used in mental health research for decades. The integration of wearable neuro-sensors into existing multimodal sensor arrays could hold great promise for deep digital neurophenotyping in the detection and personalized treatment of mood disorders. In this paper, we propose a multi-domain digital neurophenotyping model based on the socioecological model of health. The proposed model presents a holistic approach to digital mental health, leveraging recent neuroscientific advances, and could deliver highly personalized diagnoses and treatments. The technological and ethical challenges of this model are discussed.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.3390\/s20205781","type":"journal-article","created":{"date-parts":[[2020,10,14]],"date-time":"2020-10-14T21:24:39Z","timestamp":1602710679000},"page":"5781","update-policy":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.3390\/mdpi_crossmark_policy","source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":5,"title":["Towards a Personalized Multi-Domain Digital Neurophenotyping Model for the Detection and Treatment of Mood Trajectories"],"prefix":"10.3390","volume":"20","author":[{"given":"Yaron","family":"Sela","sequence":"first","affiliation":[{"name":"The Research Center for Internet Psychology (CIP), Sammy Ofer School of Communication, Interdisciplinary Centre (IDC), Herzliya 4610101, Israel"}],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"ORCID":"https:\/\/orcid.org\/0000-0002-4876-8348","authenticated-orcid":false,"given":"Lorena","family":"Santamaria","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Cubric, School of Psychology, Cardiff University, Cardiff CF24 4HQ, UK"}],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"ORCID":"https:\/\/orcid.org\/0000-0003-3826-9737","authenticated-orcid":false,"given":"Yair","family":"Amichai-Hamburge","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"The Research Center for Internet Psychology (CIP), Sammy Ofer School of Communication, Interdisciplinary Centre (IDC), Herzliya 4610101, Israel"}],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"ORCID":"https:\/\/orcid.org\/0000-0003-0666-9445","authenticated-orcid":false,"given":"Victoria","family":"Leong","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Division of Psychology, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore S639818, Singapore"},{"name":"Department of Psychology, University of Cambridge, Cambridge CB2 3EB, UK"}],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]}],"member":"1968","published-online":{"date-parts":[[2020,10,12]]},"reference":[{"key":"ref_1","doi-asserted-by":"crossref","first-page":"462","DOI":"10.1038\/nbt.3223","article-title":"The digital phenotype","volume":"33","author":"Jain","year":"2015","journal-title":"Nat.
