However, the algorithms are limited by the Nyquist sampling conditions, and simulation results with inappropriate parameters sometimes appear with aliasing. At present, many diffraction algorithms have been proposed and improved, but there is a need for an overall analysis of their sampling conditions. In this paper, some classical diffraction algorithms with adjustable magnification are summarized, and their sampling conditions in the case of plane wave or spherical wave illumination are analyzed and compared, which helps to select the appropriate diffraction algorithm according to the specific parameter conditions of the simulation to avoid aliasing.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.3390\/s23031662","type":"journal-article","created":{"date-parts":[[2023,2,3]],"date-time":"2023-02-03T01:40:25Z","timestamp":1675388425000},"page":"1662","update-policy":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.3390\/mdpi_crossmark_policy","source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":0,"title":["Nyquist Sampling Conditions of Some Diffraction Algorithms with Adjustable Magnification"],"prefix":"10.3390","volume":"23","author":[{"given":"Chunzheng","family":"Wang","sequence":"first","affiliation":[{"name":"Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School, Tsinghua University, Shenzhen 518055, China"}],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"given":"Jianshe","family":"Ma","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School, Tsinghua University, Shenzhen 518055, China"}],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"given":"Chao","family":"Cai","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School, Tsinghua University, Shenzhen 518055, China"}],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"ORCID":"https:\/\/orcid.org\/0000-0002-8707-1949","authenticated-orcid":false,"given":"Ping","family":"Su","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School, Tsinghua University, Shenzhen 518055, China"}],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]}],"member":"1968","published-online":{"date-parts":[[2023,2,2]]},"reference":[{"key":"ref_1","doi-asserted-by":"crossref","first-page":"31","DOI":"10.55549\/epstem.1050167","article-title":"New Trends and Functionalities in Automotive Tail Lighting","volume":"14","author":"Kurtulus","year":"2021","journal-title":"Epstem"},{"key":"ref_2","doi-asserted-by":"crossref","unstructured":"Takahashi, T., Shimobaba, T., Kakue, T., and Ito, T.
