The sensitivity and resolution of these sensors correlate well with the dopant property and length of nanowire. Experimental results indicate that the resolution is proportional to the nanowire length and dopant concentration. However, the sensitivity is inversely proportional to the nanowire length. The optimum resolution can be better than 0.02 mg\/dL for a doped type sensor with length of 3.5 \u03bcm. Furthermore, the proposed sensor was demonstrated for 30 applications with similar current-time response and showed good repeatability.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.3390\/s23063166","type":"journal-article","created":{"date-parts":[[2023,3,16]],"date-time":"2023-03-16T03:14:35Z","timestamp":1678936475000},"page":"3166","update-policy":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.3390\/mdpi_crossmark_policy","source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":2,"title":["The Enzymatic Doped\/Undoped Poly-Silicon Nanowire Sensor for Glucose Concentration Measurement"],"prefix":"10.3390","volume":"23","author":[{"given":"Cheng-Chih","family":"Hsu","sequence":"first","affiliation":[{"name":"Department of Electro-Optical Engineering, National United University, No. 2 Lienda, Miaoli 36063, Taiwan"}],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"given":"Wen-Kai","family":"Ho","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Department of Electrical Engineering, Yuan Ze University, 135, Yuan-Tung Road, Chung-Li 32003, Taiwan"}],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"given":"Chyan-Chyi","family":"Wu","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Department of Mechanical and Electromechanical Engineering, Tamkang University, New Taipei 25137, Taiwan"}],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"ORCID":"https:\/\/orcid.org\/0000-0001-9114-7363","authenticated-orcid":false,"given":"Ching-Liang","family":"Dai","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Department of Mechanical Engineering, National Chung Hsing University, Taichung 402, Taiwan"}],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]}],"member":"1968","published-online":{"date-parts":[[2023,3,16]]},"reference":[{"key":"ref_1","unstructured":"(2022, November 03).
