Observations of the magnetic domain structure showed that this magnetic wire has unusual magnetic noise characteristics. Bamboo-shaped magnetic domains a few hundred micrometers in width were observed to form inside the wire, and smaller domains a few micrometers across were observed to form inside these larger domains. The magnetic domain pattern changed abruptly when an external magnetic field was applied to the wire. Herein is shown how these changes may be a source of magnetic noise in the wire.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.3390\/s23073506","type":"journal-article","created":{"date-parts":[[2023,3,28]],"date-time":"2023-03-28T01:41:34Z","timestamp":1679967694000},"page":"3506","update-policy":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.3390\/mdpi_crossmark_policy","source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":6,"title":["Observation of Magnetic Domains in Amorphous Magnetic Wires with a Diameter of 10 \u03bcm Used in GSR Sensors"],"prefix":"10.3390","volume":"23","author":[{"given":"Masaaki","family":"Takezawa","sequence":"first","affiliation":[{"name":"Kyushu Institute of Technology, Fukuoka 804-0015, Japan"}],"role":[{"vocabulary":"crossref","role":"author"}]},{"given":"Yuki","family":"Harada","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Kyushu Institute of Technology, Fukuoka 804-0015, Japan"}],"role":[{"vocabulary":"crossref","role":"author"}]},{"given":"Yoshinobu","family":"Honkura","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Magnedesign Corporation, Nagoya 466-0059, Japan"}],"role":[{"vocabulary":"crossref","role":"author"}]},{"given":"Shinpei","family":"Honkura","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Magnedesign Corporation, Nagoya 466-0059, Japan"}],"role":[{"vocabulary":"crossref","role":"author"}]}],"member":"1968","published-online":{"date-parts":[[2023,3,27]]},"reference":[{"key":"ref_1","doi-asserted-by":"crossref","first-page":"167240","DOI":"10.1016\/j.jmmm.2020.167240","article-title":"The development of a micro-coil-on-ASIC type GSR sensor driven by GHz pulse current","volume":"513","author":"Honkura","year":"2020","journal-title":"J.
