The electroosmotic pressure is very weak and buried in the background noise, which is the most difficult signal to measure in the dynamic-electric coupling experiment, so it is necessary to improve its signal-to-noise ratio. In this paper, for the low signal-to-noise ratio of electroosmotic pressure, the dual pressure sensor method is proposed, i.e., two pressure sensors of the same type are used to measure electroosmotic pressure. Two different data extraction methods, Fast Fourier Transform and Locked Amplification, are utilized to compare the dual pressure sensor method of this paper with the existing single pressure sensor method. The relationship between the electroosmotic pressure coefficient and the excitation frequency, mineralization, permeability, and porosity is analyzed and discussed.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.3390\/s24092832","type":"journal-article","created":{"date-parts":[[2024,4,29]],"date-time":"2024-04-29T08:49:24Z","timestamp":1714380564000},"page":"2832","update-policy":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.3390\/mdpi_crossmark_policy","source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":0,"title":["Experimental Study of Electroosmosis in Rock Cores Based on the Dual Pressure Sensor Method"],"prefix":"10.3390","volume":"24","author":[{"given":"Chenggang","family":"Yin","sequence":"first","affiliation":[{"name":"College of Intelligent Manufacture, Taizhou University, Taizhou 317000, China"}]},{"given":"Wei","family":"Guan","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Department of Astronautics and Mechanics, Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin 150001, China"}]},{"ORCID":"https:\/\/orcid.org\/0000-0002-4302-1413","authenticated-orcid":false,"given":"Hengshan","family":"Hu","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Department of Astronautics and Mechanics, Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin 150001, China"}]}],"member":"1968","published-online":{"date-parts":[[2024,4,29]]},"reference":[{"key":"ref_1","doi-asserted-by":"crossref","first-page":"249","DOI":"10.5194\/se-7-249-2016","article-title":"A Review on electrokinetically induced seismo-electrics, electro-seismics, and seismo-magnetics for earth sciences","volume":"7","author":"Jouniaux","year":"2016","journal-title":"Solid Earth"},{"key":"ref_2","doi-asserted-by":"crossref","first-page":"055505","DOI":"10.1088\/2053-1591\/acd436","article-title":"Effect of electrokinetic treatment time on energy consumption and salt ions removal from clayey soils","volume":"10","author":"Hussain","year":"2023","journal-title":"Mater.
