The design of dielectric glide-symmetric structures has many challenges, and this paper presents a systematic analysis approach based on Floquet mode decomposition and mode matching technique. The presented procedure connects the analysis of standard periodic structures and glide-symmetric realizations, thus giving insight into the wave propagation and interaction characteristics. The obtained results were verified in comparison with results from known references and using a commercial solver, proving that the proposed analysis technique is inherently accurate, and the degree of accuracy depends only on the number of modes used. The proposed analysis approach represents the first step in the design process of dielectric periodic structures with glide symmetry.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.3390\/sym11060805","type":"journal-article","created":{"date-parts":[[2019,6,19]],"date-time":"2019-06-19T02:42:46Z","timestamp":1560912166000},"page":"805","update-policy":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.3390\/mdpi_crossmark_policy","source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":12,"title":["Modeling of Glide-Symmetric Dielectric Structures"],"prefix":"10.3390","volume":"11","author":[{"ORCID":"https:\/\/orcid.org\/0000-0002-7608-6408","authenticated-orcid":false,"given":"Zvonimir","family":"Sipus","sequence":"first","affiliation":[{"name":"Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, University of Zagreb, Unska 3, 10000 Zagreb, Croatia"}]},{"ORCID":"https:\/\/orcid.org\/0000-0001-8065-7376","authenticated-orcid":false,"given":"Marko","family":"Bosiljevac","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, University of Zagreb, Unska 3, 10000 Zagreb, Croatia"}]}],"member":"1968","published-online":{"date-parts":[[2019,6,18]]},"reference":[{"key":"ref_1","doi-asserted-by":"crossref","first-page":"33","DOI":"10.1109\/PROC.1964.2740","article-title":"Consequences of symmetry in periodic structures","volume":"52","author":"Crepeau","year":"1964","journal-title":"Proc.
