It began by claiming, more than one century ago, that, in mathematical theories, \u201ca formal list of signs\u201c (the axioms and rules of inference, independent from meaning) could allow one to consistently and completely deduce all \u201ctrue\u201d theorems. It continues today by claiming that \u201cwe can control evolution by re-writing the instructions of life written in the four signs of DNA\u201d or mimicking completely human cognition in \u201csequences of 0 and 1s\u201d, independently of our biological body and brain and their historicity.
