The current complex automotive system is the product of growth of embedded software. As a result, automotive industry focuses on a new trend Model based development rather than traditional method where software is handwritten in Assembly code or C language. This paper presents a review of the use of Model based Development to accelerate development process of embedded control systems and technologies.
