The main objective is to improve the efficiency and adaptability of design processes for residential spaces through intelligent automation. This framework covers the entire software development life cycle, utilizing AI algorithms to optimize design and respond to the evolving needs of users while maximizing resource usage. A case study on a connected home concretely illustrates the application of this framework, demonstrating its effectiveness in creating dynamic and personalized designs. Furthermore, it addresses the issue of software sustainability by incorporating aging laws throughout their life cycle, an aspect often overlooked in existing solutions. By combining product line engineering and AI techniques, this framework offers a structured approach that promotes both sustainability and personalization. It has the potential to transform practices across various sectors, such as healthcare, finance, and education, while fostering a culture of sustainable innovation.
