The regulatory framework governing resource management within education system of Latvia is a multifaceted construct crucial for ensuring efficient allocation and utilization of resources. This paper provides an in-depth examination of the overall regulatory framework, emphasizing its intricate layers and mechanisms. However, it acknowledges a limitation concerning the scope of educational institutions under scrutiny. Thus, paper outlines classification of resources within educational institutions, encompassing various categories and, moreover, investigates the intricate relationship between the regulatory framework and different types of resources. It is an attempt to find and create a connection between the resources of educational institutions and the regulatory framework of the educational system for further research aimed at advancing the development of resource management model.
