A pesquisa investiga, por meio da metodologia educa\u00e7\u00e3o comparada (FERREIRA, 2008), a fun\u00e7\u00e3o social das escolas de educa\u00e7\u00e3o infantil nas camadas populares, no Brasil e em Portugal, durante a Pandemia da covid-19. Aqui, busca-se compreender as adequa\u00e7\u00f5es realizadas em legisla\u00e7\u00f5es e normativas educacionais para a educa\u00e7\u00e3o infantil durante esse per\u00edodo.
