Then we show $\\alpha (G) \\geq 2^{-\\left({{k-1}\\over {k}}\\right)} \\left[ \\displaystyle{\\sum_{v\\in G}} d_1 (v)^{{{1}\\over {k-1}}} \\right]^{(k-1)\/k}$.
