J. Combin."],"abstract":"<jats:p>In\u00a0a recent paper, Caracciolo, Sokal and Sportiello presented, inter alia,\u00a0an algebraic\/combinatorial proof for Cayley's identity. The purpose of the present\u00a0paper is to give a \"purely\u00a0combinatorial\" proof for this identity; i.e., a proof involving only combinatorial arguments.
