J. Combin."],"abstract":"<jats:p>We study maximal clades in random phylogenetic trees with the Yule-Harding\u00a0model or, equivalently, in binary search trees. We use probabilistic methods\u00a0to reprove and extend earlier results on moment asymptotics and asymptotic\u00a0normality.
