Based on ITS and EF1-\u03b1 sequence data and morphology, eight new species are\n described from Iran, New Zealand, Portugal and Spain. Of these, five species are placed in <jats:italic>Dothiorella<\/jats:italic>, namely <jats:italic>D. iranica<\/jats:italic>, <jats:italic>D. parva<\/jats:italic>, <jats:italic>D. prunicola<\/jats:italic>, <jats:italic>D. sempervirentis<\/jats:italic> and <jats:italic>D. striata<\/jats:italic>, and three species belong to <jats:italic>Spencermartinsia<\/jats:italic> named as <jats:italic>S.\n citricola<\/jats:italic>, <jats:italic>S. mangiferae<\/jats:italic> and <jats:italic>S. plurivora<\/jats:italic>. An identification key to the species of each genus is
