Verifica-se uma crescente exposi\u00e7\u00e3o da popula\u00e7\u00e3o infantil a estes recursos. Objetivos: analisar, na produ\u00e7\u00e3o cient\u00edfica, implica\u00e7\u00f5es do uso das tecnologias digitais no desenvolvimento das crian\u00e7as. Metodologia: questiona-se \u201cQuais as implica\u00e7\u00f5es do uso da tecnologia digital no desenvolvimento infantil?\u201d. Revis\u00e3o Cr\u00edtica da Literatura, realizada entre mar\u00e7o\/junho\/2025, com pesquisa de artigos na EBSCOhost, que inclu\u00edssem pais e\/ou crian\u00e7as dos 0-18 anos, publicados entre 2020-2025, em portugu\u00eas, ingl\u00eas ou espanhol, de acesso livre e totalmente dispon\u00edveis. Exclu\u00edram-se artigos de revis\u00e3o e estudos com participantes com perturba\u00e7\u00f5es do neurodesenvolvimento. Resultados: inclu\u00edram-se onze estudos. O uso moderado e adequado da tecnologia digital pode ter efeitos positivos - promo\u00e7\u00e3o da autonomia, satisfa\u00e7\u00e3o com a vida e de algumas compet\u00eancias comunicativas. O uso excessivo e sem supervis\u00e3o est\u00e1 associado a dificuldades no desenvolvimento cognitivo, emocional, social e motor, sobretudo quando ocorre de forma precoce e prolongada. Identificaram-se atrasos na linguagem expressiva e recetiva, desempenho inferior em tarefas cognitivas, dificuldades ao n\u00edvel da aten\u00e7\u00e3o e d\u00e9fices nas compet\u00eancias sociais e emocionais.
