A maior visibilidade conferida a este fen\u00f3meno tem\u2011se traduzido, a n\u00edvel nacional e internacional, em pol\u00edticas de combate e preven\u00e7\u00e3o cuja efic\u00e1cia \u00e9 discut\u00edvel. Para tal contribui n\u00e3o apenas um desconhecimento das especificidades que o tr\u00e1fico de mulheres assume, como tamb\u00e9m objectivos outros que podem estar na base da constru\u00e7\u00e3o de tais pol\u00edticas e que dificilmente v\u00e3o ao encontro daquilo que s\u00e3o as subjectividades e expectativas das mulheres traficadas.
