Recognition is based on a single antenna system. This is important for the application in end-user devices which are usually single-antenna systems and have seldom access to more sophisticated, e.g. frequency-based features. In case studies with software defined radio nodes utilised in an active, device-free activity recognition (DFAR) system, the authors observe a good recognition accuracy for the detection of multiple simultaneously conducted activities with two and more receive devices. Four gestures and two baseline situations are distinguished with good accuracy in a second case study.<\/p>","DOI":"10.4018\/ijaci.2014010102","type":"journal-article","created":{"date-parts":[[2014,6,17]],"date-time":"2014-06-17T10:39:17Z","timestamp":1403001557000},"page":"20-34","source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":5,"title":["Teach Your WiFi-Device"],"prefix":"10.4018","volume":"6","author":[{"given":"Stephan","family":"Sigg","sequence":"first","affiliation":[{"name":"Goettingen University, Goettingen, Germany"}],"role":[{"vocabulary":"crossref","role":"author"}]},{"given":"Shuyu","family":"Shi","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Department of Informatics, Graduate University for Advanced Studies, Japan"}],"role":[{"vocabulary":"crossref","role":"author"}]},{"given":"Yusheng","family":"Ji","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Department of Informatics, Graduate University for Advanced Studies, Japan"}],"role":[{"vocabulary":"crossref","role":"author"}]}],"member":"2432","reference":[{"key":"ijaci.2014010102-0","doi-asserted-by":"crossref","unstructured":"Adib, F., & Katabi, D.
