{"status":"ok","message-type":"work","message-version":"1.0.0","message":{"indexed":{"date-parts":[[2026,6,10]],"date-time":"2026-06-10T14:42:55Z","timestamp":1781102575302,"version":"3.54.1"},"reference-count":0,"publisher":"IGI Global Scientific Publishing","issue":"1","content-domain":{"domain":[],"crossmark-restriction":false},"short-container-title":[],"published-print":{"date-parts":[[2015,1,1]]},"abstract":"<p>Utilization of automatic cell segmentation process is difficult to identify in a cell due to halo and shade-off distortions when observing the phase contrast microscopy images. Therefore, it is an important step to restore artifact-free images made ready for segmentation process. The main focus of this paper is to define a gradient projection algorithm to restore images based on the minimization problem of quadratic objective function with non-negative constraints. The proposed algorithm converges to a global minimum solution independent on initialization.
