The administration of assets related to intellect has become an essential managerial task. An ample variety of organizations have commenced initiative to contribute their best ideas on knowledge management. This article focuses this progression in more detailed approach with a description of its basic elements. Organizations have always faced a challenge to the acceptance of knowledge management in their firms. The authors of the article suggest a model for knowledge management (KM) from system perspective. This article includes an overview of knowledge management components and the proposal of an analytical model which includes all the factors required for an excellent knowledge-based system.
