To reach the optimum decision, they must take into account a variety of criteria including technical, economic, environmental and social aspects at the same time. Therefore, the main objective of this study is to address the mentioned concern by developing a multi objective mixed integer programming formulation that not only takes into account the above criteria with a focus on tax, depreciation costs and time value of money, but also optimizes a set of objective functions simultaneously. Furthermore, to model the intrinsic uncertainty of some parameters like demand and budget, a fuzzy goal programming approach is applied. In order to demonstrate the applicability of the model, a numerical example, based on the data obtained from the literature, is developed. The results indicate that, for the given conditions, hydro and PV are superior to their counterparts.<\/p>","DOI":"10.4018\/ijoris.2016070101","type":"journal-article","created":{"date-parts":[[2016,5,26]],"date-time":"2016-05-26T15:38:17Z","timestamp":1464277097000},"page":"1-22","source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":3,"title":["A Novel Mixed Integer Programming Formulation for Selecting the Best Renewable Energies to Invest"],"prefix":"10.4018","volume":"7","author":[{"given":"Masoud","family":"Rabbani","sequence":"first","affiliation":[{"name":"School of Industrial Engineering, College of Engineering, University of Tehran, Tehran, Iran"}],"role":[{"vocabulary":"crossref","role":"author"}]},{"given":"Mahsa Ghanbarpour","family":"Mamaghani","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"School of Industrial Engineering, College of Engineering, University of Tehran, Tehran, Iran"}],"role":[{"vocabulary":"crossref","role":"author"}]},{"given":"Amir","family":"Farshbaf-Geranmayeh","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"School of Industrial Engineering, College of Engineering, University of Tehran, Tehran, Iran"}],"role":[{"vocabulary":"crossref","role":"author"}]},{"given":"Mahsa","family":"Mirzayi","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"School of Industrial Engineering, College of Engineering, University of Tehran, Tehran, Iran"}],"role":[{"vocabulary":"crossref","role":"author"}]}],"member":"2432","container-title":["International Journal of Operations Research and Information Systems"],"original-title":[],"language":"ng","link":[{"URL":"https:\/\/www.igi-global.com\/viewtitle.aspx?TitleId=153908","content-type":"unspecified","content-version":"vor","intended-application":"similarity-checking"}],"deposited":{"date-parts":[[2022,6,1]],"date-time":"2022-06-01T18:27:15Z","timestamp":1654108035000},"score":1,"resource":{"primary":{"URL":"https:\/\/services.igi-global.com\/resolvedoi\/resolve.aspx?doi=10.4018\/IJORIS.2016070101"}},"subtitle":["A Fuzzy Goal Programming Approach"],"short-title":[],"issued":{"date-parts":[[2016,7,1]]},"references-count":0,"journal-issue":{"issue":"3","published-print":{"date-parts":[[2016,7]]}},"URL":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.4018\/ijoris.2016070101","relation":{},"ISSN":["1947-9328","1947-9336"],"issn-type":[{"value":"1947-9328","type":"print"},{"value":"1947-9336","type":"electronic"}],"subject":[],"published":{"date-parts":[[2016,7,1]]}}}
