{"status":"ok","message-type":"work","message-version":"1.0.0","message":{"indexed":{"date-parts":[[2024,7,1]],"date-time":"2024-07-01T09:10:47Z","timestamp":1719825047399},"reference-count":31,"publisher":"IGI Global","issue":"3","content-domain":{"domain":[],"crossmark-restriction":false},"short-container-title":[],"published-print":{"date-parts":[[2018,7]]},"abstract":"<jats:p>This article describes how after the concept of anonymous credential systems was introduced in 1985, a number of similar systems have been proposed. However, these systems use zero-knowledge protocols to authenticate users, resulting in inefficient authentication during the stage of proving credential possession. To overcome this drawback, this article presents a signature scheme that uses partially blind signatures and chameleon hash functions such that both the prover and verifier achieve efficient authentication.
