Specifically, this article sought to examine the extent to which demographic factors such as age, gender and education would influence the willingness to adopt and use e-government services. The data capture and analysis was done with SPSS. The results indicate that age as a demographic factor was significant in determining the willingness of citizens to use e-government services. The results, however, showed that gender and education as demographic factors were not positively significant in predicting the willingness to use e-government services. The implications of these findings on the adoption and implementation of e-government are further discussed.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.4018\/irmj.2018070101","type":"journal-article","created":{"date-parts":[[2018,4,16]],"date-time":"2018-04-16T08:47:55Z","timestamp":1523868475000},"page":"1-16","source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":9,"title":["Exploring the Impact of Demographic Factors on E-Government Services Adoption"],"prefix":"10.4018","volume":"31","author":[{"given":"Isaac Kofi","family":"Mensah","sequence":"first","affiliation":[{"name":"School of Management, Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China"}],"role":[{"vocabulary":"crossref","role":"author"}]},{"given":"Jianing","family":"Mi","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"School of Management, Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China"}],"role":[{"vocabulary":"crossref","role":"author"}]}],"member":"2432","reference":[{"key":"IRMJ.2018070101-0","doi-asserted-by":"publisher","DOI":"10.1111\/j.1540-5915.1999.tb01614.x"},{"key":"IRMJ.2018070101-1","doi-asserted-by":"publisher","DOI":"10.1108\/09513550810846122"},{"issue":"2","key":"IRMJ.2018070101-2","first-page":"159","article-title":"Demographic factors as determinants of e-governance adoption: A field study in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
