In this article we propose a fuzzy algebraic framework where the valuating sets are other than the unit interval (lattices, partially ordered sets or relational structures) . This provides for a flexible organization of the information gathered by the agent (via interactions with the environment and\/or other agents) and enables its selected use when different drives are active. Agents (Petitag\u00e9, ANNA, POPSICLE and Izbushka), which are instantiations of our model, are also given in order to illustrate the use of this framework, as well as its possible extensions.<\/p>","DOI":"10.4018\/jats.2009010104","type":"journal-article","created":{"date-parts":[[2011,2,15]],"date-time":"2011-02-15T13:33:44Z","timestamp":1297776824000},"page":"50-73","source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":0,"title":["Cognitive Robotics and Multiagency in a Fuzzy Modeling Framework"],"prefix":"10.4018","volume":"1","author":[{"given":"Goran","family":"Trajkovski","sequence":"first","affiliation":[{"name":"Laureate Education, Inc., USA"}],"role":[{"vocabulary":"crossref","role":"author"}]},{"given":"Georgi","family":"Stojanov","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"American University in Paris, France"}],"role":[{"vocabulary":"crossref","role":"author"}]},{"given":"Samuel","family":"Collins","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Towson University, USA"}],"role":[{"vocabulary":"crossref","role":"author"}]},{"given":"Vladimir","family":"Eidelman","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Columbia University, USA"}],"role":[{"vocabulary":"crossref","role":"author"}]},{"given":"Chris","family":"Harman","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Swarthmore College, USA"}],"role":[{"vocabulary":"crossref","role":"author"}]},{"given":"Giovanni","family":"Vincenti","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Towson University, USA"}],"role":[{"vocabulary":"crossref","role":"author"}]}],"member":"2432","container-title":["International Journal of Agent Technologies and Systems"],"original-title":[],"language":"ng","link":[{"URL":"https:\/\/www.igi-global.com\/viewtitle.aspx?TitleId=1391","content-type":"unspecified","content-version":"vor","intended-application":"similarity-checking"}],"deposited":{"date-parts":[[2022,6,1]],"date-time":"2022-06-01T19:01:08Z","timestamp":1654110068000},"score":1,"resource":{"primary":{"URL":"https:\/\/services.igi-global.com\/resolvedoi\/resolve.aspx?doi=10.4018\/jats.2009010104"}},"subtitle":[""],"short-title":[],"issued":{"date-parts":[[2009,1,1]]},"references-count":0,"journal-issue":{"issue":"1","published-print":{"date-parts":[[2009,1]]}},"URL":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.4018\/jats.2009010104","relation":{},"ISSN":["1943-0744","1943-0752"],"issn-type":[{"value":"1943-0744","type":"print"},{"value":"1943-0752","type":"electronic"}],"subject":[],"published":{"date-parts":[[2009,1,1]]}}}
