{"status":"ok","message-type":"work","message-version":"1.0.0","message":{"indexed":{"date-parts":[[2022,6,2]],"date-time":"2022-06-02T04:40:32Z","timestamp":1654144832470},"reference-count":56,"publisher":"IGI Global","issue":"2","content-domain":{"domain":[],"crossmark-restriction":false},"short-container-title":[],"published-print":{"date-parts":[[2011,4,1]]},"abstract":"<p>When business managers are considering whether to invest in an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, they ask the question: \u201cWhat are the returns on investment?\u201d When the ERP system is implemented and in operation, business managers ask another question: \u201cHow successful is the system?\u201d To answer these questions, clues can be found by examining organizational effectiveness improvements as a result of ERP system implementation. This paper suggests that being able to identify the dimensions of organizational effectiveness is enabled by ERP systems. Together with positive organizational effectiveness improvements, the business value of ERP systems can be demonstrated. To provide the evidence needed to support the notion, a confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) was conducted.
