Participants for the study were drawn from a teacher education program in a large Midwest public university. Data were collected using a web-based survey with a total of 121 responses used in the final analysis. A multiple regression analysis was conducted to evaluate how well Productivity Tools, Presentation Tools, Communication Tools, and World Wide Web Tools predict Student Evaluation of Faculty Instructional Quality. The overall significant results of the regression model and the subsequent significant results of the t-test for Presentation Tools and Productivity Tools is an indication that Presentation and Productivity tools can be used by faculty to facilitate student and faculty interaction, promote cooperation among students, promote active learning techniques, give prompt feedback, emphasize time on task, communicate high expectation and respect diverse talents and ways of learning.<\/p>","DOI":"10.4018\/jicte.2010040101","type":"journal-article","created":{"date-parts":[[2010,4,19]],"date-time":"2010-04-19T09:13:38Z","timestamp":1271668418000},"page":"1-10","source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":2,"title":["Technology and Teacher Education"],"prefix":"10.4018","volume":"6","author":[{"given":"Albert","family":"Akyeampong","sequence":"first","affiliation":[{"name":"Ohio University, USA"}],"role":[{"vocabulary":"crossref","role":"author"}]},{"given":"Teresa","family":"Franklin","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Ohio University, USA"}],"role":[{"vocabulary":"crossref","role":"author"}]},{"given":"Jared","family":"Keengwe","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"University of North Dakota, USA"}],"role":[{"vocabulary":"crossref","role":"author"}]}],"member":"2432","reference":[{"key":"jicte.2010040101-0","first-page":"6","article-title":"Technology and learning: How schools map routes to technology's promised land.","volume":"1-3","author":"R.Allen","year":"2001","journal-title":"ASCD Curriculum Update"},{"issue":"4","key":"jicte.2010040101-1","first-page":"519","article-title":"Toward technology integration in the schools: Why it isn\u2019t happening.","volume":"13","author":"J.Bauer","year":"2005","journal-title":"Journal of Technology and Teacher Education"},{"key":"jicte.2010040101-2","doi-asserted-by":"publisher","DOI":"10.1016\/S0360-1315(02)00075-1"},{"key":"jicte.2010040101-3","unstructured":"Chickering, A., & Ehrmann, S.
