Missing information about the environment and the inability to react to external events leads to rigid and verbose dialogs. By introducing these features as ECMAScript variables and event handlers in an interpreter, dialog authors can adapt their dialogs\u2019 behavior with regard to the users\u2019 surroundings and incorporate available information from the pervasive environment.
