However, no studies have been conducted on faculty turnover in higher education institutions using Erlang Truncated Exponential distribution. The research aimed to evaluate the Distribution fit for faculty turnover within a higher education institution. The simulation work determined parameter values for this distribution. The research findings showed faculty  members with higher academic ranks tend to stay longer at their positions.
