This contribution argues how data are made useful and valuable\n\t\t\t\t\tto specific actors and for specific purposes. It draws attention to the\n\t\t\t\t\tmaterial politics of data flows and valuation, and to the many different\n\t\t\t\t\tactors and stakeholders who build the technological conduits and pipelines\n\t\t\t\t\tthat facilitate the circulation and use of data.
