With the growing threat hanging over Europe, the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, warned the 27 states of the European Union of the urgency of investing in defence, through the \u2018Rearm Europe\u2019 programme, with an expected cost of 800 billion euros, even if this means an increase in spending, without, however, meaning an \u2018excessive deficit procedure\u2019.
