The movement of conversion, understood as an unfinished process because it is subject to the eroding vicissitudes of time, aims at the construction of the new human being transfigured in Christ and is oriented toward action\u2014that is, toward changing the living conditions of society in its multiple dimensions, which require improvement, conversion, and transfiguration in order to make way for a better world. The spirituality of action grounded in the Ignatian tradition carries a utopian ideal that found expression in the thought and action of historical figures who translated this ideal by adapting it to the language of their own time and life context.
