This concept emphasizes responsible resource management, reducing environmental impact, and promoting social and economic inclusion. By adopting principles of sustainable tourism, the tourism industry can contribute to the conservation and protection of natural and cultural resources in a destination, while also providing sustainable economic and social benefits for local communities. From this perspective, sustainable tourism in protected areas is of particular importance, where it is essential to implement responsible tourism practices and develop appropriate management plans in collaboration with local communities, authorities, and other stakeholders. To address these challenges and capitalize on opportunities, it is essential to develop and implement appropriate management plans, which include measures for environmental conservation, and education.
