O projeto foi fundamentado em literatura especializada sobre alfabetiza\u00e7\u00e3o, neuroplasticidade, dislexia e tecnologia educacional, com \u00eanfase em abordagens multissensoriais. O Alfaba foi desenhado para mobilizar est\u00edmulos auditivos, visuais, t\u00e1teis, articulat\u00f3rios e motores, promovendo a associa\u00e7\u00e3o entre fonemas e grafemas por meio da manipula\u00e7\u00e3o de letras f\u00edsicas dotadas de Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID). O desenvolvimento seguiu seis etapas: fundamenta\u00e7\u00e3o te\u00f3rica, desenho do projeto, constru\u00e7\u00e3o do prot\u00f3tipo n\u00e3o funcional, teste de projeto com especialistas, constru\u00e7\u00e3o do prot\u00f3tipo funcional e valida\u00e7\u00e3o com usu\u00e1rios finais. A valida\u00e7\u00e3o envolveu um grupo focal com seis educadoras e sete crian\u00e7as e testes individuais de usabilidade com sete crian\u00e7as (7\u201310 anos), permitindo analisar acessibilidade, compreens\u00e3o das funcionalidades, interpreta\u00e7\u00e3o dos sinais visuais e sonoros e aplicabilidade pedag\u00f3gica. Os resultados indicaram compreens\u00e3o das fun\u00e7\u00f5es b\u00e1sicas e apontaram ajustes priorit\u00e1rios no material e nos v\u00e3os de encaixe das letras, na simbologia dos bot\u00f5es e na legibilidade da tela. Est\u00e3o previstas modifica\u00e7\u00f5es no material da caixa, ado\u00e7\u00e3o de tela colorida de maior nitidez, revis\u00e3o de \u00edcones, bot\u00f5es maiores e controle de volume.
