Embora existam solu\u00e7\u00f5es para execu\u00e7\u00e3o de workflows em ambientes conteinerizados, estas n\u00e3o foram projetadas para lidar com workflows cient\u00edficos, especialmente aqueles com requisitos de confidencialidade. A n\u00e3o conformidade com esses requisitos permite que usu\u00e1rios mal-intencionados infiram resultados n\u00e3o publicados ou a pr\u00f3pria estrutura dos workflows. A dispers\u00e3o de dados e a criptografia podem ser adotadas nesse contexto, mas n\u00e3o de forma independente do escalonamento, pois isso pode aumentar o tempo total de execu\u00e7\u00e3o ou o custo financeiro associado.
