This chapter draws on a decade of experience with the b-Mat@plicada course, which supports over 800 students each year through a collection of 45 carefully structured video lessons. Feedback and classroom experience suggest that students find these resources helpful, not just for understanding complex topics, but also for learning at their own pace. This flexibility turned out to be crucial during challenging periods like the COVID-19 pandemic, when having access to clear explanations outside the classroom made a real difference. Building on this foundation, the chapter explores how artificial intelligence (AI) could help improve and personalize this kind of learning. Some tools, like subtitles in multiple languages, video suggestions based on progress, or a math chatbot, are already within available and could offer timely help to students who need it. The goal is not to replace traditional teaching, but to expand its reach, giving students more ways to engage while keeping the teacher at the center of the process. The chapter ends with practical suggestions for future design and research, viewing AI as a useful ally in video-supported learning.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.5772\/intechopen.1013454","type":"book-chapter","created":{"date-parts":[[2025,12,2]],"date-time":"2025-12-02T14:23:32Z","timestamp":1764685412000},"source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":0,"title":["Ten Years of Video-Based Mathematics Learning: Insights and Future AI Integration"],"prefix":"10.5772","author":[{"given":"Sidonie","family":"Costa","sequence":"first","affiliation":[]}],"member":"3774","published-online":{"date-parts":[[2025,11,3]]},"reference":[{"key":"ref=1","doi-asserted-by":"crossref","unstructured":"Saettler P.
